Intelligent Platform for Agricultural Drought Monitoring and Forecasting

This project focuses on the continuous development and improvement of an intelligent platform for agricultural drought monitoring and forecasting, integrating soil water balance modeling with meteorological, pedological, and geospatial data to assess water availability, monitor soil moisture, and generate early warning alerts. Based on the methodologies proposed by Rossato et al. (2004, 2018) and the FAO-56 guidelines, the project aims to provide scientific tools that support decision-making, climate risk management, and agricultural planning, contributing to the resilience and sustainability of agricultural systems under climate variability and climate change.
